I am just about to purchase an Ixus 90, is there any Chdk for this cameras yet??

Or is it in development

nope, ixus 90 (or sd790) has not been ported yet. there isnt even a firmware dump yet. by using the forum search here and the search in the wiki you could have found this out easily for yourself ;)
