Viewing edited images in camera
« on: 06 / February / 2012, 14:44:40 »
Hey guys! When you edit a picture in a computer and then when you try to view it in the camera, the camera does not recognize the image. Is there any way to make edited images viewable in a compact camera? Like to save it in some sort way so that the camera can read it?

Make a copy of one of your camera images and paste your edited image onto it.

Save the image without changing anything except the image number, which should be an earlier one .. I think.

I have noticed (this was a couple years ago so may be different now) that some programs (Irfanview) would mess with the exif tags and then Canon cameras would refuse to display them.  As I recall Faststone did not do this.

You may have to find an editing program that is Canon friendly.
