Possible to force playback viewing display?

Apologies if this question has been addressed before:
Using CHDK is it possible to shoot photos using my viewfinder and then have them pop up for review on the lcd? Or, if this is not possible, is it at least possible to force the display to switch to the back LCD when I do hit the review button?
The delay to see my shots is so annoying I usually just review it turned off, but when I do want to use it, having to hit that display button multiple times just to see the picture on the LCD (and then again to get back to viewfinder) just kills me.
Thanks!
