This dump apparently contains unspecified "stuff" left by unspecified tools, and so for all practical purposes is corrupted.

If a dump is not a byte for byte copy of the actual ROM, this should be mentioned somewhere.

I've blinked out 3 megs of firmware for the A1100 (0xffc00000 - 0xffefffff) but I don't have a drop.io account. Does someone want to PM me (on #chdk, I'm dch24) an email address to send it to? I'll probably have the last megabyte ready by then.

No idea what you mean with "no drop.io account" ... you don't need one

However, for the benefit of people that find drops easier than zshare/other freehosters
