Check if focus is locked / get lcd pixel colour

Hello,

Is there a way to check if the focus is locked?
If no specific function is available, could one check for the AFL sign, by checking LCD pixel colours?

Yes; have a look to the PropertyCase tables on the CHDK wikia, use the props with get_propset, set_prop & get_prop in a script...
