What's the dangerous temperature for opt?ccd?batt?
« on: 09 / May / 2009, 15:40:36 »
Hi everyone.

We know CHDK can display the temperature of opt, ccd, batt.
But I don't know what's the mean for that, actually, I don't know the dangerous temperature for them.

Can anyone tell me the dangerous temp of them?

opt?
ccd?
batt?

and if it is so high, what can I do?
Thank you very much!

I suspect (but I'm not sure anyone has confirmed) the the camera will shut down if some limit is reached. Canon also uses the CCD temp to make some decisions about noise reduction.
Don't forget what the H stands for.
