I am very new to CHDK but I have managed to get most of it to work for me on my A590. I'll try to help. The Canons that I have all have exposure compensation of -2 thru +2 in 1/3 steps. I set TV Bracketing Value at 1 and Bracketing Type to +/- This will give you your exposures of -2 -1 0 +1 +2. I usually use Av mode on the mode dial to keep the aperture constant and take the shots using the USB remote I made with the camera on a small tripod. Also, make sure the drive mode is set to "continuous". Hope this helps.

I yhink you missed the fact that you have to activate the "continuous mode" (or custom mode) in the standard Canon menu.
Also, you'll realize that 3EV bracketing will give you -3, 0, +3, not -2, 0, +2 :-)
