Hey just wanted to say thanks to all the people that helped make CHDK possible and show some cool picture I took with it. These are from a canon s2is and of course a fast MD script i found here.

So, is MD a script then? It's built into CHDK?

Yes, it's a built-in CHDK feature, available in scripts (Lua and uBasic).
The best MD script is here:  Fast MD with burst/preview mode by fudgey, see also here: Fast MD guidance.

Nice shots. I have the S2 IS but i haven't been able to do any CHDK with it. I just can't find the time and I'm a little lazy...:)

Hey guys, I posted this on the MD script forum, but just wanted to see if you guys could give some advice.

Been using CHDK on my new s90 for a while now, and of course I love it. THANKS!
Now I've put this script on and it seems to be working fine. However, tomorrow there will be a thunderstorm in my area (the first since I've loaded this script) and I'm just wanting to make sure that I have everything ready to shoot some lightning!

So my question. What should I set the threshold, pixel step, collumns....ETC, to? I've search far an wide on this forum and this thread, and maybe I've missed it. Do you guys have some settings that are tried and true for shooting lightning?
