I'm very happy with the CHDK and use it with much fun. To improve the hack I have an request. If you use the possibility of custom settings, it is helpful to have Profiles for different shooting scenes. May be you wants HDR or Makro Focus shoots with total different settings then it would helpful only to set the appropriate Profile with defines all the settings.
Profile setting:
- load all previous settings stored in the profile (CHDK settings)
- if choose, a dedicated script is runnung one time, for setting some camera parameter
- Profiles could be set by dedicated lines which allow to give a useful name and a tickbox for activation. So it is
possible to use e.g. 3 Profiles on the User Menu. Only the relevant Profile could then give a tick in the box for activation.
