« on: 13 / January / 2012, 03:00:25 »
Hi community,

Is there any feature in 400plus for shooting timelapse snaps similar to what the little bramper (hardware) assists to do ?

Thanks
Vivek

Not currently, but it looks very easy to implement, if there is popular demand; as this is the second time this feature has been mentioned, I have just opened a new feature request: http://code.google.com/p/400plus/issues/detail?id=186.

 :) Thats good to hear.

It would certainly add several plus to the current 400plus as this would just overtake any camera in the market.

Without the little bramper no software exists built into the camera that can achieve this.

And I think this feature will open up a whole new world to photographers (including me) who are interested in making timelapse movies esp that of the night sky in my case.

Looking forward to see it being implemented.

Oh also I did see you mentioned that it seems rather easy to implement so obviously some similar basic framework already exists in the source code. I used to be a programmer. Anyways I can assist to expedite the process ?

Thanks

No, there is no framework in the firmware. But, if you look into the "scritps.c" and "utils.c" files, you'll see how the scripts work and how we control the shutter in bulb mode.
