switching between video and shoot modes from script

hello,
on sdm list there was lately information that chdk does not support switching between video and shoot modes from within script with chdk commands. is that true? i mean, if sdm has it and chdk doesn't then ok, cool, but i hope this information is true.

Correct, this functionality is only available in SDM at the moment.

Maybe I'm blind, but I don't see any working link to download the source there. If you have one, please feel free to post it. You can find the link I listed above, but the file is not there.

My apologies. Somehow in setting up a new website I failed to copy that zip file. It's there now (with the code for the other three cameras as well).
