@MarcusSt: Very, very good.
Now I'm having some problm with video recording, camera crashes after about 30 seconds, even if bitrate is set to 1X.

John, same is happening with me.  non-chdk recordings are fine

Marcus, what svn repository are you using?

Hi,

in SVN, the line "ADD R2, SP, #0x58-0x30+4" was "ADD R2, SP, #0x24", correct is "ADD R2, SP, #0x2C".

I hope the movie things are now working. At least the crash after  ~28 seconds disappeared. Please try the attached build.

Thought I'd pull this to the top...

Is anyone else having the problem where loads of image directories are being created on the card while experimenting with the chdk loads?
It *may* be related to taking the card in and out or switching between using or not using raw.  I'm not entirely sure.
After working with the camera a lot yesterday I've got 5 xxxCanon folders with dng files in them and 6 xxx_04 folders with my jpegs.
The only pictures my camera sees are the ones in the last folder

Try using the newest version and enable "RAW File in Dir with JPEG". This will put the RAW/DNG files in the same folder as the JPGs.

Canon format is something like xxx__mm (monthly) and xxx_ddmm (daily), don't really know when xxx is incremented, but it is. I guess that's every z pictures taken...

I'll keep a sharper eye on when pictures "disappear" from the camera due to the folder name changing and see if I can find what's ultimately causing the problem.

So far, vid capture works fine.
captured 40s at q80, 50s at q85, 40s at q90, 60s at q95 and 40s at q99
Those just happen to be when I said "good enough" and stopped the capture.

focusing and muting while zooming during vid capture also works mostly fine here.
The only issue is that during focusing with the shutter button there is some odd static-sounding noise.  I don't know if it's sx120 specific.
