chdk on 400D. chdk autorun:OFF (CF Boot ON) issue

Hi
yesterday i installed chdk following instructions step by step.
on cardtricks window i can see CF Boot ON but the label is CHDK Autorun: OFF .

i have 4GB sandisk ultra || card.

i formatted the card using windows and not card tricks.
please help

Hi,

Since you mentioned CardTricks, I suppose you have seen this thread ?

Does CardTricks detect "File System: FAT32" ? That would explain it:

CHDK (which is for Canon P&S only) can not boot from FAT32, so CardTricks will say:
"CHDK Autorun OFF"

Hacks for DSLR are not CHDK, and can boot from FAT32, so CardTricks will say:
"CF boot ON"
