after using chdk "alt" state going back into the normal cannon mode by the blue printer button (alt) releases a shutter operation wich NOT makes a picture but after that the whitebalance is reset to custom
what happened to the video quality thing is it not implemented in the allbest chdk ?
What can I do to load CHDK?
Thanks for the developers of chdk, I shot few raw pictures using "allbest-16 build" on my A650 and follow the raw processing from:http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/FAQ#Q._I.27ve_shot_some_RAW_pictures._How_do_I_process_them.3FBut none of converters work on A650 raw files, is there any raw converter I can use?

Pretty much all the independent RAW converters use Dave Coffin's dcraw underneath the GUIs to do the heavy lifting. There is no way for him to update it until RAW files for any given camera are actually available, which has been just a couple of days for the A650.So the first solution will be dcraw, then the others as they incorporate the changes.I sent him a sample today and he sent me a patch for the C code and prelim color settings. Not final, but should allow conversion. Except, I'm not that kind of programmer. So if you or anyone would like the patch, I can send it on. And maybe you could send me the Windoze executable.I found A710 RAW files to be a big improvement on the JPEGs:http://zone-10.com/cmsm/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=149&Itemid=1&limit=1&limitstart=3So I'm eager to see how the A650 fares.Moose
Thanks for the information but I'm not a programmer too, so its better to wait for a new version of dcraw to support A650 raw files.
Or am I mistaken and the A650 is one of those DRY-OS cameras that require the auto-booting method to load?
