A570 1.00E vs 1.01a ?

My fw version is 1.00E. Does anyone knows whats the difference between those two versions? Would i gain some improvement if upgrade to 1.01a is done?

I really have no clue, but before someone who has posts a reply, my guess is that E stands for Europe and A for America and the differences would be in localization features or something similarly irrelevant making the ROMs a bit different and thus need separate builds... and the version number would be different just for clarity, not for features or bug fixes.

Nope. A letter is just a part of version number. No relations to a particular country.
The firmwares we already have for a number of cameras - have "A, B, C, D, E, F, G, I, J, K" in their versions.

As that updates are not officially released nobody knows what the differences are. And there is no such update for A570 AFAIR, so the second question is meaningless.
