Even though I am Russian (tho I live in us) I just say it the way it is:
CH as in chair
D as in dog
K and in Kite

Comes out more like "Chidik" a lot of the time tho  :haha

Ah! But Canon is pronounced with a hard K sound, so it would have to be:
Khuh-HaDhiK which, by a strange coincidence, is the name of a small planet on the rim of Alph Centuri. ::)
