A720 usb remote wire help required

Hi guys, Please someone can help me to let my A720  work with a remote cable ?
Infact when I run Fingalo script, my camera shoot regularry ( connected the usb cable with the computer ), but when I select
the option of CHDK build 37 or 48 the camera and don't  run the Fingalo script, the camera don't shoot.
Make I a wrong sequence of actions ?or maybe that I have not undestand nothing about the usage of the remote cable ?
