I'd like to ask something from the users of the SX210 port:

When your camera is in record mode are you able to operate the zoom while ALT is active? If so, that's a bug.

I can confirm this. I can't operate the zoom if ALT mode is active.

My question was, whether you are able to make the zoom lens move by operating the zoom lever in ALT mode.

There is a problem: gcc462 compiled trunk970 RAW crashed,gcc346 compilation of the normal working,Why?

OK, no problem. It's your first option:
I can't operate the zoom if ALT mode is active.

Edit. Sorry, I understand now. Your first post is clear but I read it wrong. I thought that the bug was if the zoom didn't worked in alt mode, and its the opposite. So, there is no bug.
