The CHDK for A650 is really great for me.But There is one problem that the "CRW" file can't be open with any of these program:dcraw,DNG converter 1.1.4d ,UFRaw,and and follow the raw processing from:
FAQ - CHDK Wiki

none of them works,why?

I've been emailing a bit with Dave Coffin about the A650 and dcraw.

I'm fiddling with a patch to the Feb. 6 version, but I'm checking out what appear to be a few kinks on my end.  I'm sure he'll have something solid out soon.

Hello guys, I can't open the CRW files too, I have tried with dng4ps2 then it converts the file to dng file, but when I try to open with Photoshop CS it shows the file is incorrect, what can I do?

Just to add my experience here, might help somebody: using new AllBest build 50, PC on Oz OS (Linux Ubuntu 7.10), have tried Ufraw, Rawstudio, Gtkam, Gphoto2, Rawtherapee and Lightzone, no joy. Then tried to compile Dng4ps2 beta from source: too many unsatisfied dependencies, gave up. No .deb packages either so I downloaded and installed the Windoze executable of dng4ps2 beta installer into Wine. Runs perfect, converted some Raws downloaded from my SD USB card reader to DNGs and uploaded them to either Rawtherapee 2.3 or LightZone to work with. This is my setup until RT's next version, which will include direct support for A650IS as it will use Dcraw 8.83 (includes A650 support). Regards. Alex

you may try photoshop cs3
