Any ideas?
I'll do a test version today that blinks the LED's during the boot process to see how far we are getting.

Thanks waterwingz!

I'm unable to autoboot using the provided files. Steps taken:
Format 1gb card to FAT16
Make Bootable
Copied contents of firmware 1.00k zip
Locked card
Started camera with play.

Result:
Nothing happens. If I reinsert the battery, unlock card, camera starts in play mode just fine.
With card locked, pushing on/off or play to start does nothing.

I've tried the above steps with both CardTricks and SDMinste.exe

Any ideas?

Same for me... Only the clock turns on...

I had my camera come with the 1.00I firmware. Ended up developing a dead pixel, so I sent it in and got it repaired. When they sent it back, it came back with the 1.00H firmware..

Not complaining since the H version as been tested and working well.. Just want to let other people be aware of this!

I tried out version 4 and got a blinking light and the firmware display, but nothing else. When I tried to switch from review to shoot mode the camera turns off.

@nerdBrain :  Thanks for the feedback!  Now I need to ask a few questions.  With any new port, you tend to get people new to CHDK testing so its important to understand which issues are with the new port and which are due to the person being new to CHDK.

Can I assume you are sure you have 1.00k firmware ? How do you know ?

And when you say you get the "firmware display" does that mean a three line text display that starts with the words "CHDK Firmware" ?  Is there also a graphic CHDK logo displayed ?

What happens when you press the DISP key ?  Do you get the <ALT> symbol on the bottom of your display ? And if you then press the MENU key do you see the CHDK menus ?

No worries. I am relatively new to CHDK testing, although I have been using it on my SD900 for a number of years. I got my firmware version using the vers.req and FUNC SET + DISP combo. Yes, that is exactly what I mean by firmware display. There are three lines of text starting with 'CHDK Firmware'.  There is no graphic logo. The camera loads in review mode. It turns off when I attempt to switch to shoot mode. With that being said, the <ALT> symbol displays when I press the print button, not DISP. I get the CHDK menus when I press MENU, and I get the Script menu when I press FUNC SET. Hope this helps.

Just tested the latest version - Seems to be working with firmware 1.00k - a few scripts are not working, get a play error.

As a follow up, all scripts seem to be working except the fast motion detection found here. http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts

I did have to format the card twice, make bootable twice, then load zip. I used cardtricks. It appears the first time around not all the files in the zip were copied to the sd card. All seems to be working otherwise.

1st boot you MUST press the play button to power on the camera. subsequent power ups do not require play button to load CHDK.

Great work!!!! - Now lets get the fast motion script working :)
