😳 CanÂ´t switch to alt, no menu.
All keys work as expected until I try to change to Alt.
(Wifi in my case) Then only zoom keys work.

os.home = W :o, third hand workstation. Could have been a conflict between cable & vacuum cleaner.
USB sticks fine, until I touch them.

First delete everything from the SD card and then copy the necessary files.

Can you please just try spell out whatever it is you want to communicate as simply as possible?

You spend a lot of time on chdk. People here spend their time trying to help you. Please don't make it more difficult than it needs to be.

Can you check the zebra mode.
Set Under / OverExposureThreshold to 10, this will make the indicator much more visible.

SD override will work in AFL and MF.
So far, only AFL has been defined.

Zebra is a feature that indicates over and under exposed areas of the scene. When the shutter is half-pressed, the areas of the scene that are under or over exposed will turn red. The zebra effect can also be applied to existing images by half-pressing the shutter during playback mode.

RAW File in Dir with JPEG - OK
RAW/DNG - OK
ZEBRA - OK
Free memory - over 800kb, so it's fine

It should be verified that the correct DNG is saved in all recording modes.
The PTP extension not tested yet.
If anyone can make these tests, let us know.

FWIW, I found SX730 was not recognized in one particular hub, so if you have other ports / hubs to try, I'd suggest that.

If you briefly press the POWER (on / off) button (less than half a second), does the camera start in record mode with extended lens?

??? No, it displays last testshot, no access to keys.
With CHDK booted cam behaves like offline.

Open Device Manager on your PC.
Connect the camera to the PC using the cable and turn on the camera by pressing the PLAY button. The device manager will probably automatically refresh itself, if this does not happen, hit "Scan for hardware changes". If the libusb driver is properly installed you will see the item libusb-win32 devices with your camera.

Edit: Now I found my fault: USB-remote & sync was set in menu.

Edit2: Same as Ixus275 now: 15 passed, 0 failed.
