hi. But my mean's my a720 fw is 1.0.0 and i want to upgrade it to 1.0.0.c to use chdk. I have a question. Can i upgrade my camera with 1.0.0.c FW instead old one?. If i can, how i can upgrade it? So i need 1.0.0.c FW for a720 IS if it can be upgraded. Sorry for English.

I do not think your fw version is 1.0.0. There is always a letter after the three numbers.

Please use ACID to determine your true firmware version : http://www.zenoshrdlu.com/acid/acid.html

You should also be able to configure your SD card using : http://zenoshrdlu.com/stick/stick.html

Sorry - that is not your camera's firmware version. Please read this - especially the paragraphs at the end of the section :

Link > How can I get the original firmware version number of my camera?

I strongly recommend using the ACID utility linked at the top of that section.

Unless Canon issues a firmware update release, you cannot change the firmware version. However, you probably don't need to.
