I found the calibration instructions on the wiki and tried it myself. Here are the results:

Req 1) Progam/Manual mode: Manual (Manual)
Req 2) Best jpeg quality: Quality=Superfine Size=Large
Req 3) White balance to daylight: Daylight
Req 4) Switch off all effects: Color Mode=Off
Req 5) Exposure compensation to -2/3: -2/3
Req 6) Focus to infinity: Range=Far Range, Focal Type=Zoom, Focus Mode=Single (AF Mode=Multi-point AF)
Req 7) Zoom to middle: 4.6 mm < 10.833 mm (midpoint?) < 17.3 mm (Digital Zoom=None, Macro=Normal)
Req 😎Flash to off: Off
Req 9) ISO to lowest value: 316 (Base=100)

I don't have any experience with this, so I'd still be interested in seeing how it compares to the one you generate.

(And, for the puzzled searchers: To install dng4ps2-0.2.2 on Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty), sudo alien -i dng4ps2-0.2.2-release.i586.rpm and sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3.)

ændrük, values of matrix and errors are strange. It look like you selected less then 3 areas on image.

I've taken other shoot with sx200is on 24" iiyama B2409HDS calibrated screen

I have uncovered that using the script " badpixel.lue" the camera produces DNG directly. Can I consider it a RAW originates them?

How to import or set camera profiles in Lightroom 2.5

Background Info:
1. I converted SX110 RAW images to DNG images using dng4ps
2. I updated to Lightroom 2.5
3. I downloaded camera profiles from CHDK forum such as
Canon SX110 - 400D Standard 105.dcp
Canon SX110 - Adobe Standard 105.dcp
Canon SX110 - Camera Standard 105.dcp
4. I import my CRW_2400.DNG image to Lightroom 2.5 but could not set the profile from default "embedded" to "Canon SX110 - 400D Standard 105" under the Camera Calibration tab in Lightroom

Question: How to set custom camera profiles in Lightroom?

Is it correct (i can't see an alternative yet) that the dng code simply embeds the matrix to use to convert the "rawer" dng into a correctly developed dng? So if the program I use to view dngs doesn't use the matrix I will see colours that are not correct?

Btw anyone know why mounting the SDcard I use in my Ixus 100goes so slow on my cardreader (sweex (i know 🙁 ) Its faster to mount it in my Nokia N900.

Here's the JPEG. Taken with middle zoom, program mode, -2/3 exposure, no flash, focus to infinity, distance to display about two metres or thereabouts.

Alternate, in case you need to see monitor's white area for white balancing or something like that:

Display info: LG Flatron IPS231, using AdobeRGB1998.icc profile, set to manual colour temperature 50/50/25 for R/G/B respectively (even the "warm" preset is way too bluish). Gamma is set to 2.2 (default). For what it's worth, the display reproduces gamma calibration tests extremely well, but I just wonder about the colour temperature thing and how much it would affect this kind of testing.

I was able to calculate the matrix colour with other image (RGB Mixed on CRT monitor) and it looks very well

The Matrix code is

But can´t convert with dng4ps because sx120 is not supported. Maybe include this matrix at chdk dng conversor will be a great idea.
