I have bought two S95s and CA-1 for stereo shooting, but I can't make it work reliably. On half-press usually focuses, but then on full-press it starts focusing again before taking a picture. Sometimes it takes a picture only on half-press, sometimes never.
What configuration options should be enabled for this setup?
Is it possible to debug what is going on?
Yeah you are right, just reproduced exactly what you describe.
Before that I did not try to half-press to let the auto-focus do its magic, since I always manual-focus when working with tripod+remote, and full-press always took the shot.
I only used the "enable remote option", did not try the "synch" and "delay" options.
I will try the remote on a
SX1 to compare behaviors.
EDIT :
just tested the remote with an
SX1, I have the exact same behavior as with
S95.
Just to be clear : for me, even if there are annoying glitches with remote half-press, full press is working fine. More-over, by using manual focus, + full-press, it's working great.
