I  have a a620 with the Allbest 50 build.  The camera has a pop-out lcd screen, and when I turn it so the screen is pointing towards the front of the camera, the entire screen displays only white.  This only happens when Allbest is active.  So, for example, if I wanted to take a picture of myself and see the lcd screen at the same time, I would only see white.

This is flashlight mode see misc at CHDK firmware usage - CHDK Wiki you can turn it off in the menu.

In order for it to be active, one has to enable that option first,fyi.
