SD550 1.00h build needed!

What would we have to do to get this build done? I've a few people start work on it and I know there are a lot of people who would greatly appreciate it. Point me in the right direction and I'll learn how to port CHDK for this version of firmware but I am so not a programmer, so that probably won't go too well. Has anyone gotten decently far on this? Anyone willing to do it who has the knowledge?

sd550 is already supported in for 100f and 100g, so adding h should be relatively easy. You still need some programming knowledge, but it's not nearly as much work as starting a new port from scratch.

The first step, as always, is getting a firmware dump. I didn't find one in Firmware Dumping
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Yeah, I really  Have no knowledge of programming. I'd definitely be willing to learn so long as that wouldn't take, you know, years. There is a firmware dump though.

Thx for the dump, good work.

Oh, I'd missed this thread. (Just left a message in an older SD550 thread, sorry about that.)

Like the thread-starter, I'm no programming ace, but I'd be willing to help out here if someone could hold my hand part of the way.

He's definitely correct -- there are a whole lot of people who will appreciate this one. I'd love to be the guy who gets credit for getting it done... again, I just really don't even know where to start. :-(
