Bracketing and ND filter override doesn't seem to work.
    Otherwise looks fine.

At least exposure bracketing works fine. ND filter works too.

Bracketing works only when I continue to press the button, with self-timer it makes images without  changes to exposure.

Yeah, agree. Looks like with timer it's non functional.

Hi! Great job hacking this camera!
I consider buying it myself. I would like to use it for astrophotgraphy so I'm interested in long exposure imaging. Is it working and whats the longest exposure possible, 64s or longer? Could someone take one  long exposure dark frame in range of 120-300s in RAW format (without noise reduction). It would be very informative for usage in astronomy.

Hi, here is "quick-n-dirty" port for A480 1.00b
This is "port in one day", and I cannot test all features, but at first look it works.

    Some remarks:
    - 'mode' key used as <alt> key:
      - press 'mode' key shortly to enter/exit <alt> mode
      - press 'mode' key longer to access original function
    - playback (>) key used as 'disp/erase' key in CHDK menu etc.
    - if autostart is used, press 'on/off' button longer to turn camera on in record mode (usual CHDK drawback).
    - DNG settings are copied from SX10 and colors may be wrong.

    Thanks a lot ewavr!

I had my A480 booted with CHDK! Now expecting SDM to be ported. :)

    Hello!
    Thanks for the beta-port!
Remote-USB-Control is not working for me. Is somebody having the same problem? Or any solution?

    thx!

    goetz

edit: This morning I checked my switch; I was measuring only 2.8 v, could this be too less? (3v were required, I guess)...
edit2: I tried 4.5v, but no effect either...
final edit: it works! The trick is, that the voltage has to be greater than 4,5 v. good luck with your own remote! :)

    Beta2:
    * fixed bracketing with self-timer
    + added longer(>64s) exposures
+ added some video features: mute on zoom, AF scan and AE shift (press "menu" key during video recording to activate AE shift).
