hey all, i'm looking for an intervalometer script for my powershot s90. i am going backpacking and wanted to capture a few time lapse videos.

i downloaded the ultra intervalometer script but after reading the info here:
http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/UBASIC/Scripts:_Ultra_Intervalometer

i wasn't sure if this was setup accurately for the powershot s90. any suggestions on what i should use or what modifications it might need?

Why you are not simply try if the script is working as expected?
The camera will not explode if something is wrong... ;)

I tried ultra intervalometer and sunsetf16...they don't work on the s90. (I also tried an HDR script...same result: the script start and finish at the same time...)

The main reason I loaded the chdk was to use my S90 for
time lapse/stop motion creation.
Quite surprised that I can't do this.
Anyone know if it's possible?

All CHDK ports support scripting, and they support almost all the same commands. If a specific script doesn't work on your camera, it's up to you to figure out why.

The most common cause of incompatibility would be using hard coded propcase numbers, or making assumptions about the features available on a specific camera.

It's also always possible that a particular port has bugs, and this is more likely in recent ports. If you think you have found a bug, you need to describe in detail what you tried to do, and what the resulting behavior was.
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Loaded these scripts but none seem to work.
All parameters were there...time etc..but...
Top left of screen has " uBasic : 1 Unk stmt flashing
but nothing happens when I press the shutter.

Perhaps I didn't run the script properly?

The message means there's an error in line 1 of the script. The most likely cause is that the line endings were corrupted when you downloaded it and copied it to the card (you need to look at it with a simple text editor). A simple Carriage Return/Line Feed pair will work.

Hi: Checked the scripts and they are exactly as posted and
were copied correctly. Still getting the line one error.
Has anyone managed to get any type of intervalometer working on the
S90?
If so please let me know how.

Thanks.
