@pethead

I've just checked this (shell 1.25) on most recent trunk, 390, Allbest version = 51 and I can not reproduce this
effect. GCC Shell itself does not touch the version number, any manipulation of this is controlled by the Makefile
and/or makefile.inc. I do know that GrAnd has removed the build number auto-increase since trunk version 387,
so I suppose that porting your source to trunk version 387 or higher could eliminate this problems.
You could, as a first experiment, compare your Makefile to the one in trunk 390 - on line 6, 7 & 8 you will find the
lines responsible for version auto-increase. Updating these lines in your Makefile should cure the problem. If it
doesn't, your best bet is to ask GrAnd, who maintains the Makefile.

have fun,

wim

thank you. I'd redefine NO_INC_BUILD and have correct filename of zipped firmware. :)

Hi !

Thanks to a problem at "tools(dot)assembla(dot)com" (and because I have it running whenever online  :D) I discovered that v1.25 would 'hang' if this page was unavailable.

Here's the update: chdk-shell-v128.zip - 1.00MB

* fixed unavailable assembla hang (see above)
* updated CardTricks menu to CardTricks 1.28 functionality
* small graphical bug fixes
* made window fit completely in 1024x768 screen

enjoy,

wim

Another update:

chdk-shell-v130.zip - 1.00MB

* reverted to fixed window size, but both window & font size fully tweakable - see readme.txt
* program now correctly remembers last position

Tested OK for me sizing the program window from 70...135%, now it should even work on
1920x1200 @ 130 dpi fonts  :D (...or so I hope, does it ? GrAnd ?)

enjoy,

wim

Hi !

Here's v. 131:  chdk-shell-v131.zip - 1.00MB

* bugfix: wrong source file was included with v. 1.30
* as usual, minor graphical tweaks + fixes
+ window/font resizing now controllable from the GUI

notes: - font size should usually be slightly smaller than window size for optimal results.
           - minimum usable for me was 77/82%, just small enough for 800x600 screen.

have fun,

wim

Small update to sync card functionality in with v. CardTricks v1.32
(will now auto-add VER.REQ after formatting)

it's here: chdk-shell-v132.zip - 1.01MB

small bug: had an error in compilation, your program crashed because it couldnt find wordpad. i'm pretty sure you can exchange that for notepad, as this app is definitly on every windows box ;)

Wow!  What a gift to the community, whim.  I couldn't get the CHDK gmake to work by itself (something screwy in my environment) but CHDK_shell seems to work flawlessly.  Thank you for making my day.  :D

@PhyrePhox
thanks for reporting - fixed in 1.33 (will look at better filtering, I dislike the way notepad handles LF )

@dlw
Stop it, you'll make me blush  :D

@all
Sorry for answering delays, since my landlord decided to work on the house, I can only occasionally
sneak in to use the internet. Looking on the bright side, that forced me to study the program's
behaviour without net connection, which helped me iron out a couple of (graphical) bugs.
From the readme:

- 1.33: Fixed various resizing bugs in offline mode. GUI now uses Tahoma font, which resizes
        better (now 'readable' even at 70/70% @ 454x515). Also error log is now opened with
        Notepad, it seems some boxes don't have Wordpad (thanks, PhyrePhox)
        Card functions updated to CardTricks 1.33: some GUI tweaks, and now shows a warning
        when JPG, CRW, or AVI are found on a card which is about to be formatted, even if
        'stop info messages' is selected.

it's here: chdk-shell-v133.zip - 1.01MB

have fun,

wim
