I have a PRIMARY.BIN file for this camera.  Unsure how to proceed.

Hi, upload your file to some file share server (ie. sendspace, dropbox, box).  Then post the link to the forum.

fe50 checks the posts regularly and copies the dumps to the firmware dump server.

Can try this:

http://www.filedropper.com/primarybin

PRIMARY.BIN.gz

EDIT:I'm also available for any testing that one would require.  I don't have the skills for assembly or an environment setup to compile but if someone who does would like to work together to get this released I'm available to do whatever testing procedures are required on the camera to get an ALPHA/BETA/Final release out the door.

EDIT2:  The process to obtain the primary.bin file.  Used MacBoot.class to prepare the SD card.  Loaded the universal dumper onto the card.  Turned the camera on using the play button then zoom to the left.  The screen indicated the location then changed to done.  Removed the card and the files were present.  LOG file contains:

Started
FF000000 dry
done
