  This is a bug in trunk-3349, gui_osd.c in 371:"conf.show_values==SHOW_HALF"  changed to "conf.show_values==2". SHOW_HALF==3!=Miscellaneous Values->Show Misc Values [Shoot].
Show Misc Values [ ]={ "Don't", "Always", "Shoot"}={0,1,2}

Thanks for the report, it should be fixed in revision 3357.

Has anyone gotten partition swapping working for this model?  I picked it up hoping to replace my SD1200 for timelapse, got a 32 GB card for it, but I have to manually boot CHDK everytime.  If I use 'stick' to configure the card, it works for autobooting, but will not swap partitions.  The 'swap partitions' menu option does not work, either. 

SD4000, 100d, on an Apple macbook pro, 10.9, and CHDK 1.2 and 1.3.

The SX210 was released in early 2010 and thus needs dual partition support for cards greater than 4G if you wish to autoboot CHDK.   I checked the source code and the dual partition support code is in boot.c and the CAM_MULTIPART #define is in platform_camera.h.    All of which means it should work.

Why are you also mentioning the SD4000 here ?  ( which also needs dual partitions BTW).

I may have posted to the wrong thread - I was searching on 'sd4000 swap partitions' and landed here.  I also tend to keep 6-7 tabs open to the forum while I'm following a train of thought, so I might've jumped the rails.  I'll see if I can cross-post. 

I also have the exact same issue on my SD1200, so maybe it's a more general issue?  (pre-2011 cameras and >4GB cards?)  My S95 works fine, though...

So you want to know about the SD4000 then ?

According to the code,  it has dual partition support compiled in and enabled.

Lots of pre-2011 cameras work fine with dual partitions - including four of mine.

Update :  let's talk about this :

If there is a "Swap Partitions" menu option, then the code is built-in to do that.  Later cameras do not have that option.  If you configure with STICK,  how many images does the camera think it can store ?  If it's using dual partitions and not swapping then it will only be a few.    Also,  did you try this : WASP on your PC to swap paritions ?

I'd strongly recommend the second one as the dev version is about to become the stable version shortly.

What you're looking for is this: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Releases and perhaps this: http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Downloads
1.00c is the factory firmware version of the camera, we can't change that.
