Hi,

Firstly thanks for this fantastic forum, the wiki pages and of course CHDK software. Wondeful! :) However, I can not get the time-lapse movies to work. I have tried the 'INTERVAL video' script but this only seems to allow me to record seperate video runs (i.e. not one frame per minute on the same run). Am I doing something wrong or is it a lot more compliocated than I think?

Time-lapse movies is just a set of (normal) shots made with an interval, and then combined to a video by software on the PC.

VideoMach is pretty good
costs US$30 for a standard license

can't think of any free ones at the moment.  There was cmpeg, but it was an older dos based program.

You should try CombineZM too. It's memory consuming in the making movie process and the results aren't so smooth. But it's GNU free and very good for DOF bracketing!

I use Windows Movie maker.  Free if you have XP.

I'd suggest also the usage of VirtualDub, it's free, GNU/GPL,
and allows you to do a lot of things, not just setting frame speed,
it's a very small and fast program, I recommend it to everyone.

While I use VirtualDub for splicing clips sometimes, it isn't able to compile from images as far as I know.
