Hi, great work.

Though I thank you for the mention in the guide, it's kind of unfair to say I am a developer (I'm not), I just made this forum available for you guys and gals.

Cheers ;)

Thanks, I'm sure everyone would say that the forum is a very important part of the development. :)

Hi,
I'm a first timer here so please be gentle......
I have an IXUS 750 with software release GM:100.H but I cant find a corresponding CHDK.
Can I use the 1.00G version that is posted or will that not work with my camera ?

10th Oct 2009 Hi all i am new to CHDK got my sx200is this weekend and have just loaded CHDK and been reading this guide.

My thanks goes to all the people who have worked hard to produce such a great user manual and to those who have produced the CHDK firmware.

I sure that i am going to have hours of fun with my new toys.

Thanks again, keep up the great work

Andy

Here's the new address for the A4 and Booklet size of V1.8.8, included is the Installation Guide and a .doc file of the A4 size, (each available separately)

(no longer valid drop.io is defunct) see later posts.

Edit. deleted defunct link.

Hi An0n

Thanks again for the user guide.

If a clearer version of my USB remote circuit diagram would be of use, please let me know. I've made it a bit narrower and set the fonts to bold - probably better for a smaller image. It's available as a Visio diagram or in most graphics formats.

I'd attach it, but we don't seem to have that function enabled.

Cheers,

Paul

I'm really sorry for such a dumb question, but how do I download the New User Guide?
I keep getting a drop io password screen, and my password doesn't work.
I must be doing something really stupid.

Thanks

@omeomi

Try this link (goto it on the Wiki)  http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20101016033120/chdk/images/3/33/CHDK_UserGuide_April_2009_A4.pdf
The file name suggests it's old, but I just checked the DL, it is from Oct 2010 alright.

All links on drop.io are bound to disappear by 15 Dec, by the way ...

hth,

wim

edit: goto -> got: LOL, some typo's can really change the meaning of what you're trying to say ...
