So I have spent many days not trying to make this work and I have got the the point where I can load CHDK onto the camera but the card is write locked because there isn't a firmware install for the EOS m3. Because I have to make the card a bootable sd card I have to write lock it once I have installed it onto the card, the m3 then can't write any photos onto the card making it useless. :'( Please help if you can. Thanks :-]

Glad you got it going.


There are a few M3 users and some of us try and take the camera beyond canon  ;)
