Title: Another clueless question...

When i load Chdk onto my Canon s3, can i us the menus like i would normally?
Can i zoom using the same controls?
Look at pict, slideshows, video...?

If I understand you right, Yes you can.
(Exept of the Print button)

Correct me if it's not the same but on my a710is it's like that:
first you use your camera as normal, then you press the print button, afterwards use chdk, and then change back to the normal menues.

Should be similar for all cameras/builds, just the alt mode activiation key may be different.
You shouldn't have any difficulty getting it running, I got my S2 up in only a few minutes after jumping into it.  It is then that you get immersed in the whole nest of figuring out what you can do, and what you want to try first, etc....

Not a problem to run at all.
I had a little trouble getting some of the scripts to run but that comes from my (cluelessness).
It runs great and i look forward to exploring it and learning more...
