Is there any chance that the Canon PowerShot ELPH 300 HS will be hacked? It is an amazing camera but is missing exposure locking and an increase in the timelapse feature (which stops at 10 shots)...?

Yes, I'd be very interested in seeing/helping with some progress on this camera. I own it and need exposure bracketing. I'm not a hardcore developer, but am not afraid of navigating some code, if there's anything I can do to help please let me know!!!

Looks like the new developer on that previous thread had to time out and pass on this project. From reviewing what was documented I do believe that this undertaking is over my head, unfortunately.

Still I'd be very eager to hear of anyone with more experience taking on this camera model!

All I really need is exposure bracketing. I'm somewhat upset that this camera model does not provide the option to do it, but alas the purchase decision was mine.
