CHDK menu jumps all over the place

CHDK menu jumps all over the place

I'm new to CHDK and have a problem after installing it. When I try to navigate through the menus the selection bar jumps between last selected and currently selected. I don't know if that's my fault or the fact that it's an alpha release.
