CHDK download links not working

CHDK download links not working

Hi,

I just tried to download CHDK from http://mighty-hoernsche.de/  but I get the following error message: "File does not exist. You will be redirected to the root page in 3 seconds. ". The same happens regardless of what version I try to download. Am I missing something or is there a problem with the server?

I found an alternative link on http://code.google.com/p/chdk-g12/downloads/list which is the model I was looking for, in case someone has the same problem. Still, I think this is something that will need looking at if it's not a temporary problem. Thanks.

You probably need to refresh the autobuild page. It appears to be working fine to me.

I haven't been able to contact the download server for 2 days now, What's going on?
nslookup can't resolve the name and if I try a web browser, all I get is
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at www.mighty-hoernsche.de.

    *   Check the address for typing errors such as
          ww.example.com instead of
          www.example.com

    *   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
          connection.

    *   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
          that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I've been trying for the past 24hrs to access http://mighty-hoernsche.de/ says "Server not available" on Firefox and "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" in IE. I cannot ping the site or perform a DNS lookup. The domain name registration is showing active. Is it possible the site is down? Can anyone else access it?

It's not down but apparently there's a DNS problem that prevents you from finding it with its name. Adding '

188.40.32.247 mighty-hoernsche.de to your hosts file (/etc/hosts on a typical Linux, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hosts_%28file%29 for other OSes) should help for now (if it doesn't, restart your browser and/or computer and try again).

The menu language by default is german, simply delete \CHDK\LANG\german.lng to get menus in english language.

It's a payment issue, should be working again in a couple of days (i hope tomorrow or saturday, but who knows..)

Until then, with http://hacki.someserver.de/ you reach the same site.
