Where you get dump for 1.03A?
Can you post a link?

I'm sorry, but what do you mean "get dump"?

My cam has the 1.03A fw, I tried using the 1.02B CHDK, but the cam won't even turn on. I then have to open the battery compartment and close it again (and unlock the sd card), so that the cam can work again. It just plays dead with the CHDK 1.02B and card locked.

Please note that every camera model, and almost every firmware revision requires it's own unique port.
There is zero chance a port for one model will work on another.

Well I got it to load now. I see a couple of extra icons telling me about my battery and the time and opt 29, whatever that is.

My main interest in this is the ability to take RAW pics and the battery meter is a nice addition.

Can someone explain to me how to get the thing set up to shoot in RAW? Thanks.

Never mind. I figured out the fi2 thing.

I'll let you all know about the V1.00c port if it works.

Ok, still got an issue.

The fi2enc doesn't work for me. Can someone point me to a way to get it to work.

...or...

Can I use the PS.FI2 from a v1.01 build?

Which it sounds like this is what nimrod was half expecting.

Yea, I'm not too surprised since I didn't finish reverifying the boot code, but if it had worked I could have skipped some work, lol.

From here on I think I'll just contact the people who are willing to test via private messages in order to spare everyone else the gruesome details of debugging. Sounds like jsgarvin, Radix, and swordfish are willing to help test and if anyone else wants to, just send me a message. Kind of funny how I'm trying to do this without a 101b camera, but it should work out even if it's a bit slow this way.

(Before I upload another build I'll add some debug code that will cause the LED to flash as the boot process is going on. That way if it crashes then people can give me some idea of where the problem is by telling me how many times the LED flashed before the camera crashed.)

Unfortunately, I've been getting ready to head out on vacation. I'll be back and available to do some direct communication and testing next week.  Thanks a ton for your work on this nimrod.  Getting this working the slow way now is a whole lot better than waiting for who knows how long for someone with a 1.01b camera to do it faster.

I haven't worked on the 1.01b port since the last time I posted to the thread. (Too busy using my camera. Nah nah! CHDK already works on my 102b camera!)

I don't have anything I need to do tomorrow so I think I'll get back to working on this. Will send mail to the people who agreed to test once I have another build. The next one "should" actually work, but if not then at least I'll have debug code in it so that trying to run it will at least yield useful diagnostic info.

ZZZZZZZZZzzzzz...
