Unfortunately, no.  There is no equivalent script.   

I'm guessing about what was done here.   While Lua might be fast enough to do the necessary processing it would  likely required a camera with quite a bit of free memory and some carefully optimized C code to really make this smooth.   Access to the LCD image buffer and the LCD display buffer are also needed and those are not available to a script.

And you can forget about even starting to try this with uBASIC.

It's too bad the original author did not make the source code available.

Hello i was interested for this years ago and today i see there is the source code added in 2016 maybe someone can help make it for chdk but i don't know how to do but it can be possible this is the link where you have the source: http://www.telecom.ulg.ac.be/research/vibe/doc2/index.html don't know if ot is easy to make it as script thanks in advence!
