It is useful, thanks, but only as a last resort.

vid_get_viewport_fb() is already scaled down to LCD resolution, so magnification means pixel blockiness.


I believe there are two independed image stream engines in DIGICII / III:

The first scales the live image down to be viewed on the LCD.
The second one does either drive the TV output - or the magnified picture-in-picture MF point zoom overlay.

I want to control the second one!
