A while back, some digital cameras models had a memo feature. One could depress the shutter, take a picture and with your finger continuing to depress the shutter, the voice recorder would begin after the image had been written to memory.

An "image with voice-tag" was a one-click process.

Can a script be written to enable this?

Not currently AFAIK, CHDK doesn't have any control of audio recording.

For the cameras that allow you to record a voice memo, you could probably simulate the appropriate button presses from script.
