I obtained a service manual for the F660EXR.
There doesn't appear to be any hidden menus or anything on the camera, but maybe something in here would be useful. There is a lot of info on using some pc software to modify things.
Moderator Edit: Link to copyright/confidential information removed.I think the interesting thing here is that on page 33 of the PDF it mentions making an SD Boot card, with some particular files (that I can not access). It doesn't seem to ever say what this boot card is actually used for. But I think the thing to take away from this is that it would appear that the camera can read instructions from an SD card.
Might this pave the way to something like CHDK?
