Problems with Stereo release 1.50 and S3

I just built my stereo USB release cable and I was going to start playing with trying to synchronize a SD850, and a S3 IS.  However, I'm running into two problems:
1. My S3 doesn't seem to work with the 1.50 release.  Any time I try and take a picture with the firmware loaded, the camera hangs and I get a blank screen.  It works fine with Allbest or without CHDK.  I confirmed that I have 1.00A.

2. My SD850 works fine with the exception that the USB release immediately fires off the picture even if I hold down the button.  My understanding is that I have 10 seconds to release the remote shutter.  Did I read that wrong?

Did you start by installing SDM on a clean, empty SD card?

You need to be in sync mode.

I made sure I was in Sync mode on the SD850, and I still cannot get it to wait until the voltage drops. It takes the shot when it sees the voltage.  I tested this with a homemade switch w/ 4.5V, and with the PC USB port.

On the S3, I did a low level format of the card and then put the V1.5 SDM back on.  Now it doesn't hang on me, but I have another problem.
I no longer have the "Synchronize" option in my "Stereo Parameters" menu.
The top of the Stereo menu is:
RF far at infinity
Twin-Camera position
..
..

In the website Q&A, it says  :-

"Does USB-remote work on all supported cameras ?

It works on ixus70/SD1000,ixus800/SD700,ixus950/SD800,A460,A550,A570,A610,A620,A630,A640,A700,A710,A720 andG7."

By USB-remote, we mean the precision-synch version.

David,
I saw that you had the S3 version of SDM on your site, so I thought that it worked.
Can you comment on the SD850?  Does your list have an error.  It calls the IXUS950 the same as the SD800.  Isn't it the SD850?  So is synch supported in the SD850, as mine doesn't work?

Yes, you are right.

Contact me directly via the email address on the SDM Group.

I will send you a version to try.
