canon powershot a1300 version 100b not working with CHDK

canon powershot a1300 version 100b not working with CHDK

i have canon power shot A1300 

i have tried every instruction on CHDK but cant make it work

i get file error and if i use card trick camera wont start up at all unless ill remover bookable card

used ACID  to verify firmware version and its 100b even tried version 100d and 100e  but its not working

is there any way i can make it work cause i need it for my project

ill be great full for your help

Did you follow the instructions found here :  http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_your_SD_card  ?

The STICK utility mentioned in the blue box at the top of the page is highly recommended.

yes i did

format memory card from camera 

downloaded correct version

extracted it pasted it turned it on by play button

i got file error

when i tried to make bookable SD  camera wont turn on  unless ill unlock card or remover that card

kindly help

Note that the A1300 is a new camera and hence will boot from FAT32 - making FAT32 cards boot able is NOT done in quite the same way as FAT16.

I wrote STICK precisely because trying to do all the steps yourself is tricky and error-prone. STICK checks both the card and the camera and does everything (download, unzip, make card bootable etc).

some how i ended up with a1300 box and a1400 camera  errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

i dont know why that happen to me 


i can contribute in porting a1400  any one interested ?
