Yeah, quite a loss if they really take all the content down. I referred to their camera database quite often, and the reviews were always a good place to get an overview of almost any camera in the last 25 years. Kinda surprising there wasn't a business case for keeping the brand / site alive, even with less new content, but I guess Amazon doesn't care.
Some of the very early CHDK history was there too.
