Hi.

I just found out about CHDK and wonder if it works for a canon camcorder. I'm into capturing video using something like a 35mm adapter, thus the video recorded appeared upside-down and inverted. I wanted to find out if someone has already written a script for flipping (vertically and horizontally) video for canon hf200. If not, how do I get started?

There is no chdk for camcorders. I would strongly suggest doing your flipping in post processing.

There has been some very preliminary work on analyzing canon DV cams, but nothing usable by end users yet. See http://chdk.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Camcorders and http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?topic=1641.0
Don't forget what the H stands for.

Although intended for stereo, this programme can flip vertically and horizontally if you have the appropriate codec on your system :

It can also be done with a script with AviSynth.
