A590IS Help -- RAW Picture Size < JPEG Size/ Bad Pixels

CHDKers::

Just discovered CHDK and am starting to use it on my A590IS. Installs fine but noticed a few things:

       - JPEG size is L (3264 x 2448) whereas RAW size ends up being M3 (1600x1200)

          Is there a setting to set L sized pictures for RAW?
          Did I miss something in the set up?

       - With CHDK installed installed, I noticed "bad" pixels in both RAW and JPEG images. When I shoot without CHDK, JPEG
          images appear correct.

          Has anyone else experienced this?
          Is there a way to correct this?

Thanks in advance and apologies if this has been covered before,

.vp

There's nothing wrong with A590 RAWs AFAIK, but many viewers (Irfanview, Faststone ?) will by
default only show a (reduced size) preview, check their options (for Irfan, Options -> Properties -> PlugIns)

Also note there's a dedicated "RAW shooting and processing" board here: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php?board=15.0

I use a A590 IS with CHDK and the RAW is full size. When you are selecting a different size, the apparel resize the raw when exporting the jpg but the raw is still a raw.

Concerning bad pixels, I use DNG with bad pixel reconstitution. Then I use Adobe camera profiler before importing in Photoshop or Lightroom.
