your cam has not yet been ported, but people are working on it.
you can follow their their progress here: A590IS Porting, who's with me?

note that it is a developer thread, please do not post in it unless you have something to contribute,

[edit: since it seems you will have to wait anyway, you might want to prepare for the moment
          that a beta version pops up:

          1) find out your cams real version: FAQ - CHDK Wiki
          2) your cam uses DryOS, so your card needs to be made bootable for CHDK, read here how: Bootable SD card - CHDK Wiki
          3) read the very instructive user guide (link in my signature)
