Canon SX20 IS - inability to read/convert RAW files

Hi All,

I've just started working with CHDK on the SX20 IS. I am running sx20-102d-0.9.9-919-full_beta on the camera, and it seems to be functioning OK. I've tried reading the RAW files with over 10 different readers/RAW converters with no luck. Does anybody have a recommendation on how next to proceed? It would be greatly appreciated.

I recommend reading the stickies in this forum.

Short version: CHDK "raw" isn't a standard format, it's just a dump of the sensor data. Programs need to be updated to support new cameras. Using DNG instead is suggested.

Definitely agree with @reyalp that using DNG is the best option.

Just in case you've already shot some important RAW photos that you need to convert, then @ggeerraa was successful with DNG4PS using the settings for the SX200IS: http://chdk.setepontos.com/index.php/topic,4348.msg53157.html#msg53157
